The Division of Applied Mathematics of school of mathematical sciences center on the development of computer mathematics and differential equations, theories and applications and education. There are 5 staff members and 10 graduate students. The researches focus on Partial Differential Equations, Integrable Systems, Dynamical Systems, Symbolic Computation (theory and algorithm), Computational Algebraic Geometry, Computer Aided Geometric Design, Numeric Analysis, Mathematical Model (design and applications). Up to now, four practical researching projects have been finished by applying mathematical theory and technology. About 90 academic papers have been published in core journals.
